• MFD Part1 Ireland.
• MJDf Part1 England.

This ONE- day revision course is aimed at candidates preparing for the MFDS Part 2 Examination. It reviews topics covered in the syllabus and gives participants the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the exam format and receive individual expert feedback on their performance through practicing mock examination (role players and examiners). Participants gain an appreciation of the examination format and an understanding of the breadth and depth of knowledge and communication skills required to succeed. A particularly valuable part of the day is the small group OSCE practice.

Aims & Objectives:

•  To inform candidates about the MFDS Part 2 Examination, Provide revision of topics covered in the syllabus and give the opportunity to participate in a mock examination.

•   An appreciation of the examination format, breadth and depth of knowledge and communication skills required through wide range of Lectures, Group Sessions, OSCE Training and Mock Examination.

1. 8:30 - 9:00    Registration.
2. 9:00 - 9:15    Introduction.
3. 9:15 - 10:00   History taking (dental, social, and medical).
4. 10:00 - 10:30  Explanation.
5. 10:30 - 11:00  Coffee Break.
6. 11:00 - 11:30  Managing patient concern.
7. 11:30 - 12:00  Interpretation of investigation.
8. 12:00 - 13:00  Lunch Break.
9. 13:00 - 18:00  OSCE station with actors.
